Is Chiropractic Safe?

ABSOLUTELY!  My grad daughter was adjusted 2 hours after she was born.

Can I just get one adjustment and be done?

Ask your Dentist how that would work for your teeth or your mechanic for your car.  The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and the individual. After a thorough assessment, Dr. Grady will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process.

You're a bone Doctor, right?

Actually, we are nervous system Doctors. We just utilize the movement of the spine and other joints to allow your nervous system to function at its optimal levels!

If I don't hear a pop, did it work?

The "popping" sound you hear while being adjusted is actually just gas in the joints creating bubbles and popping, kind of like opening a soda. You can recreate that sound every 15-20 minutes, but that doesn't mean you had a misalignment and that it was corrected.

How do I make an appointment?

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, chiropractic care can assess and treat without referral by a doctor. However most health insurers require a doctor's referral before they authorize cover of fees, some only require a phone call.
